How It Began
Hi, I’m Jenna, the owner of Wholistic Jewels.
How it Began
Wholistic Jewels started during the early stages of my spiritual path. I started learning about crystals and their properties when I came across citrine. I found citrine to be the perfect stone for me for my partner Julian and thought he would benefit from having one. I started looking around for a small genuine citrine necklace he could wear that was not too flashy since he was not into crystals. I searched and searched but could not find one up to my standards. Due to this, I decided to make him one myself. But what would I do with all the extra supplies? I thought. I decided to make necklaces for my family since Christmas was around the corner, and ended up buying Amethyst and Rose Quartz as well. Little did I know that these handmade Christmas gifts would change my life forever.
I think all humans crave to access their creative side and get those creative juices flowing somehow. Whether it be through music, art, sculpting, or any form of creation. I realized that was lacking in my life once I discovered the fulfilling feelings that came with creating jewelry. Since opening this shop, I have never felt more alive. In other words, I found my thing and I’m never looking back!
Using Nature as an Inspiration
Further along on my spiritual path, I found a personal desire to be in nature as much as possible and found myself attracted the idea of humans living in forests, living by oceans, eating whole plant foods, and connected with the earth. After getting my shop up and running, the creativeness I was holding back on all those years hit me full force and I started experiencing vivid imagery of humans surrounded by nature. I wanted to translate these images into my creations. Based on the ideas I was seeing, I decided to create the different lines of jewelry to reflect these thoughts.
